In the past when I played Rogue Spear on 9.2.2, the OS didnt suck up a ton of RAM.  For some reason after clearing out my HD of games and stuff I dont use, the OS has been taking up RAM up the arse after I play RS.  Like, I could restart the computer and have 55.6 mb used for the OS, I play one terri hunt with 20 terris, quit the game, and the OS can take up at least 70 MB.  It does it whenever I play mods or RS vanilla.  Any one have any clue why it does this?  Cause it never has before.

I have 384 mb of RAM, yet I used to have only 128 mb.  Thats why I think 70 is alot.

So why do you worry about a 15 mb increase?

OS 9 is screwy.  The more memory you have the more the OS will decided to use.  With 1GB of RAM last time I used OS9 it was using close to 100MB of RAM.

So should Mac OS X (in essence) use up less memory?
