Possibly with a Macintosh emulator on a pc but I've looked long for one and never found a good emulator.

Emulators, what are they?  What's their purpose?

Beefy, sorry to go so long without answering your question. An emulator is a piece of software which allows one type of hardware to run software written for other types of hardware. An emulator can also be designed to allow one OS to run software written to work with a different OS.

For example, a Super Nintendo emulator reads a SNES ROM file containing a dump of a cartridge, which contains machine language instructions to the SNES' 65c816 processor. Machine language is specific to a given processor, and is not useable by other processors. So the SNES emulator reads these machine language instructions and converts them to instructions to your Mac's processor and video card (or PC's processor and video card), which allows the SNES program to be run on a totally different architecture. The thing about emulation is, because each instruction has to be translated, emulation is expensive in terms of processor power and thus, is slow. For example, my old computer had a 200 MHz, 32-bit PowerPC 604 processor. It was unable to emulate the SNES' 3.58 MHz 16-bit processor at full speed.

So, a Mac emulator would run on a PC and interpret the instructions contained in Mac programs so that the PC could run them, starting with the Finder.

Ok people, i think you guys have completely gone off course on this post heh.  Sturm, if ya want to play pick up then start a thread in the gossip section of this forum.  Srry, but I think that this is stuff that you should tell her on GR and not in the forums here where people are trying to address questions to their problems.  And unfortunately you trying to setup online moves isnt a problem for here heh.  Sorry bro, but this is why topics get messed up in forums =).
As for the question of Gameranger for the PC, well, it has been said before my post here and I will say it again.  it canst be done as far as anyone knows.  Gameranger was originally setup many years ago to counter all the PC only Game connectors that were floating in internet space out there, and since there was no Mac only ones, that is why gameranger was created.  Originally it was called something else but for the life of me I cannot remember the damn name heh.  Anyway, I am pretty sure it was Scott's intention to make sure it was Mac only because of the high demand for a Mac only server.
as far as emulators go for this Mac game browser, i doubt that there is a reliable emulator for the PC to run gameranger.  Srry

I completely agree with kilzo.  This is a MAC ONLY GAMMING COMMUNITY, I can perhaps understand why you would like to access from a PC,  like me at work I have access only to PC's.  But come on guys lets keep ONE of these MAC worlds PC free.
