Woah baby, the Spurs anally raped the Lakers tonight. It looked like it was gonna be close when i turned it off at halftime, but when i turned it back on for a study break LA was losing by twenty something. It's about time a good, humble team like San Antonio knocked out those whiney-ass prima donnas. I hope the Staples center sinks into the a gigantic hole created by a gigantic earthquake and Shaq and Kobe never play again. I predict a Spurs - Sixers final and I think the Spurs will win it all even though I really like the Sixers. Robinson and Duncan are good players anyway and they deserve another championship, especially since I'm pretty sure this is the Admiral's last season.

ahhh, everything caught up with the Lakers this season.  From Chick dying, to player injuries, to Phil's health.  It was all too much weight to carry.  Lakers went a lot further than any team would under their conditions.  I'm proud of my LA Lakers and all the accomplishments they achieved up to now.  Now let a healthy team go all the way and enjoy what we've spoiled ourselves with. A blast from the past...

Ironically this is the best thing that could have happened to the Lakers.

My point being:

The Spurs will win the title and feel that they are good enough to win again - this leads Jason Kidd to stay in NJ.

Jerry Buss finally realizes that after years of being a cheapskate, e will have to open up his wallet and bring in a quality PF - meaning the Lakers sign Juwan Howard away from the Nuggets and instantly become the title favorites again for next year.

Shaq, tasting a failure he hasn't felt in a long time finally gets off of his ass during the offseason and pulls a Kobesque type training regimen - he comes back in the best shape of his life and completely dominates the NBA again.

Damn, I just wish I was still in LA to rub this in the face of all those damn Laker fans. The Lakers have been exposed as the two-trick pony they are, and those two aren't even as great as people would like to think. The Spurs have a quality all-around team and possibly the best player in the league (Duncan or KG, it varies depending on the day of the week). The Lakers are beginning a downward spiral and won't sniff a championship anytime again in the near future, which is all I care about as there will be less morons driving around with those idiotic flags on their car.

I hope the Spurs win it all. How can you not respect Tim Duncan, one of the few stars who stayed in school for 4 years. Then there is the Admiral, who I have long held in high regard. They won't showboat like some, but man do they have the skills.

Sixers over Pistons in 7 (Pistons would have won had Chauncey Billups not been injured)

Ah hem.... now hopefully the Pistons can take out New Jersy.
