 Well!
 I'm writting this topic, 'cause I can't help seein' you form DTD using all the same sound files in all mods of ya! Alright it must be difficult to find or do different ones....but they're not good and reallistic at all!  Shocked
 I'm sorry if I'm being rude with you, but sounds like the 5.56mm AR15 mini of Red Diamond Group, or SWAT mod or US Tact are all the same,and it seems to be more a machine than a gun sound!
 Im really really sorry, but these sounds aren't good enough... Smiley

Sniper,
You can always add your own to the mod, if you dont like the sounds. You are correct, its not that easy to edit them.

Its not that easy to find decent sounds, Ive looked for ages and unless youve got a profesional recording suite and access to real firearms you cant do much. I found a few decent ones a while back but in editing for the full fire sounds they do sound very synthetic. I dont think Redstorms sounds are up to much either.

 Yeah! This you're right, Dave!
 The sounds of oiriginal Rogue Spear files aren't so reallistic too!
 The M16 sound seems to be a MP5 or UZI sound. It should be more "heavy", and longer.... Huh
 But I know how to do "some" reallistc sounds of shots. They're not all professional, but they're very interesting...If anyone want sounds files for any mod you're doing, you can also request me......All pleasure I do!

LOL, to each his own...
I'll tell ya, and Cobra can vouch for this, that the single most frustrating thing about GR was doing the sounds. If you don't like the ones in there (I kinda do) feel free to swap them out, you'll see what I am saying.

Any high quality sounds in GR format are welcome, BTW. Check out Cobra's tutorial on sound editing.
