Anyone else having problem staying logged in with Safari v73? I am trying it out now that it has tabs, but whenever I login, it doesn't show me as logged in once I go to the next screen. I see the cookie for the password in my list. Any clues?

I still normally use IE, but when I use Safari on my dad's laptop to go to the forum I do have problems staying logged in.  Can't help you though.

I used to have the same problem but not anymore, didn't change with the new beta either.

I never had the problem, even from the first beta of Safari. However, even after repeated bug reports to Apple by me none of the new versions have fixed the fact that whenever I try to type an ellipse on this or any other forum, it shows up as a question mark after I submit the post. BTW ace when did they release a tabbed version? I'll have to find it and see if tabs is all that and a bag of chips like you say it is.

The first tabbed version was released a few days ago. Run Software Update. Then you have to go into the Safari prefs to enable tabbed goodness.

Tabs is a great improvement.  All the renderings still aren't perfect, but it's not terrible.  I still prefer it over IE, even though it still has random hiccups where it will take a few tries to load a page.

Ace - that happened to me after I first installed v73.  Try quitting Safari, then opening it again.  A simple restart could help too.  My problem went away the next time I used the browser.  Also, if you've moved Safari from it's previous folder, it may have trouble finding your cookies, even though it recognizes that they should be there.
