With the fire control equipment, on man standing, stationary target:
- by day, hit probability at 300 m: 0.9
at 500 m: 0.5
- by night, hit probability at 200 m: 0.9
at 400 m: 0.5
Optional equipment
- Multi-purpose sling with standard or specific connections.
- Bayonet and its sheath.
5.56 (.223")-calibre individual weapon, fitted with a 9-inch pitch rifled barrel and with a 25-round
magazine whose ejection can easily be arranged right or left without using tools.
The FAMAS FELIN incorporates equipment enabling:
- day and night firing,
- offset sighting,
- rangefinding,
- assistance to instinctive firing,
- a combat identification device.
The FAMAS FELIN also carries the control devices of the infantryman communications systems (radio,
data or image transmission).
