Fucking Mp3s!!!!

For 2 weeks I have been looking for the deftones demo song "Freaks"..i thought i finally found it..and it was some fucking spanish cover band..at the end of the song he started counting in spainish!!!

WTF!!...and about 10 people had it and swore it was the deftones, i am assuming its not..for the reason stated:
1.) doesnt sound like them
2.) singer does not sound like chino
3.) spanish counting at the end

People are soo fucking stupid, I have Limewire 2.9 and im pretty happy with it.  It works well on searchs, but i get "could not download, awaiting sources" a lot.

Basicaly i just wanted to freak a bit at the stupid mp3s and people who think they are actually the real band.  I am d/l from another person, this one better be different..but i f it is..i swear i will kill those spanish fuckers!!

unless that is the deftones with a gay sounding singer....

Later,
jackal

My brother is so into the Deftones it's scary, and "Freaks" sounds just like most of their older stuff when it was recorded live/low quality. You've just got a wrong version of it or something.

there's too many people
and too many freaks
and too many eyeballs starin' at me

Limewire works alright for me, unless a song is obscure it isn't too hard to find a good version of it.

Unfortunately, this is music that hasn't been far beyond Sacramento or Petaluma in CA, so it qualifies as rare and obscure.

I'm sure you could find the song on some Deftones fanatic's website. That, or you can get Drumbeat. Drumbeat is about 10x better than LimeWire (you can find anything with it), but it does use up a lot of processor power. I dunno the website, so just go to versiontracker.com or something to find it.

I can also only suggest Drumbeat the best Mp3 Mac P2P app yet.

I get up to 200server with 700.000user and more on weekends  Grin Limewire is only better if you look for certain movies or commercials.

Bye,

Drumbeat is utter trash, shareware, crashes, mostly mainstream music, and the opennap networks suck. The major ethical problem with Drumbeat is that they are charging for something that should be free (file sharing). If you really want to use opennap (variation of the original napster network), you can find free clients that work just as well.

The hands down best p2p app is Direct Connect. You connect to hubs and can access everyone else's shared files on that hub. Hubs are community based, and have a theme to them, like anime hubs, trance hubs, divx hubs, mac hubs, ect... You can expect to find between 1-60Terabytes shared on each hub, and you can connect to as many hubs as you want. In total all the Hubs combined have 1 petabyte of avalible files.  Direct Connect is the best p2p program since AudioGalaxy. Oh, its only for osX, but you should have this already.

Jeb, you be right. Direct Connect is the best thing since the Huskies as long as you have lots of files to share (over 20 gigs to get into the good, nonleecher-infested hubs).

Well the latest Drumbeat version also connects to the morpheus and kazaa network so it improved extremly(now I even find very rare austrian music.) and you can workaround the time limit very easily. *huch did I say that?*

Bye,

Mauti
ps: I can only suggest Drumbeat for music downloads!

On Jeb's advice I checked out Direct Connect and find it to be pretty good.  I have about 7GB shared so I can get into many of the hubs, and I've been able to find most things. (Mind you, not too happy about getting 2k/sec on a movie download).

I'll check out Drumbeat as well.
