Problems with the new Mod 1.3a (IDF)

Hello guys!
 Can someone over there help me?
 Well, I downloaded the first version of IDF last year, but them I saw you had the new version 1.3a. I downloaded all the FULL 1.3 version and installed in my Ghost Recon directory mods (I have Desert Siege too).
 So, the earlier version I had no problems or bugs into it. But now, in 1.3v I have some: there are some characters that aren't with any texture - they seem to be all blank.  It only happens to the normal soldiers, 'cause there are some speciallists that are with the right uniform (camo).
  Can you help me to do it??

Upgrade your Ghost Recon version to at least 1.3 or better version 1.4 that should help.

Also, everybody remember that you have to get MAC versions from *DAMN, the other versions are for PC

Hi, I just downloaded & instaled the the idf mod 1.3. When I play ghost recon I can only access the regular soldiers in idf dress textures. there is no IDF weapons in the kit selection and every time I click on the specialists the game crashes repeatedly.  Some time I can access a specialist but he apears with no texture and no weapon and then the game crashed.

I have GR version 1.4 (the lastest patch). I have island thunder & desert siege. My video card is envida ge force 4400 128 mg. My os is windows xp.
I have 512 ram on my system and my processor is 1.1 gb.

I do not know why this is taking place and I am dying to play the idf mod and use idf weapons. can you please help?

Yes, I know man! But I downloaded the right version for PC.
I runs very well, but there are some soldiers without their respectives uniforms. I didn't happened to my older version 1.0a of IDF.
As you did the Mod, can you help me?
Is it a problem of the Mod or from my own PC?

Version 1.3 should not have any of these issues. If you installed over a previous version, the patch should work, but if for some reason the old files were not overwritten, there could be tese type of problems. Do a clean install with version 1.3 after deleting the old {DTD_IDF} folder in your mods folder. This should fix the problem as long as your copy of GR is patched to at least 1.3. The IDF 1.3 release was specifically designed to take advantage of the GR 1.3 features.

 Ok! But the Desert Siege Patch does not "auto-upgrade" the older versions of GR?
 I had the version 1.0a, I installed it and everything were going well (no problems).
 Then I installed the 1.3a, and major of the uniforms were missing (the guy seemed to be all blank, only the face textured).
 None of the uniforms you showed in the main page were there, in my Mod .13a. I tried it to Desert Siege and GR Standard, but they probs are all the same.
 I don't think it's about the patch version 1.3 of my GR, because the uniforms that are mising aren't from the stnadard GR game - it's from the IDF Mod as it's in the main page of DTD....
 I'll try to install it again, but I don't think it's a problem of the Patch of GR standard!! But Thank you any way Cocobolo!

Island thunder is the actual mission pack that the final version of IDF was designed to work with, along with the version that it brings GR up to. Desert seige was also covered in this process. Kill 2 birds with one stone and update to version 1.4 if you need to, I don't know which DS copies updated to what exactly or if there was any variance. Make sure no other mods are active when you troubleshoot this! IDF works with all mods I have ried, but some mods have skins that can cause GR some confusion when used with IDF.
