It's time for a new 1v1 tourney. The BL doesn't start until April 15 and we can get it started now. Thoughts?

Well, I'm not sure that Mauti wants to be responsible for another screwed up tourney like the last few, but I'm sure he wouldn't object to having it run though the Battle League forum in the time before season 4.

Count me in, both to play, and to give any assistance that is needed.

Alright Typhy.. Let's organize this thing together, so Mauti doesn't have anything to worry about. This thread can be for comments, and a new thread that I will make momentarily can be for sign ups. For pairing people up to play eachother, I think we should do it randomly, rather than rank (who's qualified to rank everyone). What do you think?

Last night, while I was on GR, Rapid sent me a link to the upcoming DAMN/AK hosted 1 vs 1 tournament.  I dont know if you both are talking about the same thing or different tournies.  Wanted to see if Rapid could confirm this as he seems to know more than I do about it.  I forgot the link so maybe he can post it here.

Yep Rapid asked me to setup a tournament and I think Rapid would be a good tournament admin. Unfortunaly I am to busy at the moment.

However one strong suggestion is that the tournament doesn't have more than 16players and has to be played on one(!!!) weekend.

Well usually Bondo and I run these tournaments but oh well.  If you guys needs a tournament graphic just tell me how big and such.  Why do you feel Rapid is going to be a good tourny admin j/w?

Rapid won't kick anyone out, unless someone does something very bad. Infect give him a chance.

I think that Rapid will do well with the tourney.

Pat, I disagree with your idea and having random ranks. The idea is to have the best vs the best in the final.

If ( for example ) Xoclipse and I were to end up facing eachother in the first round, one of us would get knocked out, and players who aren't as good as either of us would move on.

More after I eat.

And yes, you're right about me not taking any BS from anybody.  If your challenge is online, I will be expecting you both to get your 1v1 done.  My strict ways will help get all the 1v1's done(or be penalized for it). Grin
