Ghost Recon Game Play Rules
Valid Maps and Game Play
1.? Only stock maps from Ghost Recon (Including Desert Siege and Island Thunder) and RSE/Ubi Soft are allowed in game play.?? This is considered the stock rule should we add a custom map rule.? Modified game files, tweaks (mods), custom enhancements are not permitted and grounds for ejection from the ladder.? Exceptions are based on the request of the matching teams or?otherwise noted by The Combat Zone Administration.
2.? Current Invalid Maps: NONE
Restrictions: 2v2 Ladder:? ONLY Multiplayer Maps, Embassy, Refinery and Polling Center are allowed.? Wilderness is Restricted and NOT Allowed.
Restrictions: 1v1 Ladder:? ONLY Multiplayer Maps are allowed.
3.? Only stock (default) uniforms allowed.? No custom designs as of yet.
4.? Only stock (default) weapons allowed.? No restrictions on weapons as of yet.?
5.? The smallest match roster required for a challenge is 3.? If a team is challenged to a match they are required to accept the match with in the guidelines of the rules.
Except in 2v2 Ladder (min. roster = 2) and 1v1 Ladder (min. roster = 1).
Mods and File changes are not allowed.?
Exceptions: Options.XML file can be modified as well as a Command Map Grid Overlay Mod employed.
Command Map Mod must meet the following criteria:? Client Sided.? Non-Overwriting of original game files for an inception of an Anti-Cheat Program Install.
Game Play and Settings
1.? Matches will be composed of the Best of 3 games.? You could play a total of 3 maps, each played 3 times.? Map 1 - (2/3) Map 2 - (2/3) Map 3 (If Needed) - (2/3)
For understanding purposes:? Game means 1 Map played for a Best of 3.? You will play up to 3 games to determine a winner.? Which means you could play no more than 9 times.
For ladders with a time limit.? When the time runs out the game will note the winner of the map.? This result is valid.? In the event of a DRAW or Tie that map needs to be played again.
2.? In All Matches (Except 1v1):
- 1st map is to be selected by the lower ranked team (player).? The higher ranked team (player) will select the side and color (Team Selector).
This round is played up to 3 times.
??- 2nd map is to be selected by the higher ranked team (player).? The lower ranked team (player) will select the side and color (Team Selector).
This round is played up to 3 times.
?- 3rd map (If needed) is to be selected by the lower ranked team (player).? The higher ranked team (player) will select the side and color (Team Selector).
This round is played up to 3 times.
?- The same map can be chosen.
?- Team choice of side must be complete.? No splitting up of team.
There can be NO TIE (DRAW).? If needed the map is to be redone till you reach a winner.
1v1 Map Play:? Each round is to be played only once.
In the event of an uneven match and both sides are wiped out: :? The game will not issue a draw as normal but a win to the team with the lesser amount of players (read: most kills).? This is a valid win.?? For ALL matches the result that the server declares is valid.
REGARDING REPLAYS:? ALL replays must be handed over to the opponent at their request with in 24 hours of the match completion.? Failure to do so can lead to suspension up to and including ejection of the offending team.? Replays must be from the match in question.? We will not review replays from games outside TCZ other than for archiving purposes.
