Does anyone know if it's possible to import the replay files of a game (ghost recon), and the edit them in finalcut or similar programs. ..?

No that's impossible because the replay files only save your moves and if you watch the replay it renders the playback in realtime. So the only way to get it to capture it is to use the svhs output of your graphic card(if you have one) or the vga output with a chinch converter and record it with your digital camcorder or videorecorder. And then put it back through firewire as editable file.

Bye,
