On GameRanger, I've been noticing some servers for Ghost Recon require the SPv4.3 weapons' mod. I have the the SPv4.0 weapons' mod and have been unsuccessful in finding the necessary update. Does anyone know where I may find it? Huh

TheoRetiKule, the Alpha Squad released that sometime ago in zip form. Try the first link and if that is down the second one is Fileplanet link.

http://home.online.no/~r-toem/SR2004_TheFarm.zip

http://www.fileplanet.com/dl.aspx?/planetrainbowsix/atwar/GR/level/sr2004_thefarm.zip

Thanks Monoman - now d/l'd - hadn't twigged that the zip file was the Mac version - d'oh...

But what a nice map...

Hi guys,

DTD Team, NED 1.4 Update and the SR2004 Farm have been ported. Still lots of requests open so it doesn't become boring Wink Hope to get most of them done step by step.

Bye,

Mauti

Could you please convert White Skull Valley.

Its a map you can find on gr.net. I asked there for someone to convert it to a zip but the texture names need shortened and I guess thats where you come in.

Thanks in advance.

I already tried it, but the textures are saved in a weird format. One of the PC creators told me that he will change it for me, but he never did -> no Mac version until now.

Hi,

the textures need to be saved with A4R4G4B4 instead of A1R5G5B5 (Alpha, Red, Green, Blue) channels.

From my Mac article over at GR.net:
Quote
....textures saved in with A1R5G5B5(Alpha/Red/Green/Blue) channels can screw your gaming  experiences.

Filenames need to be shortened, audio  files converted to .aif and textures  resaved as A4R4G4B4 or A8R8G8B8.

I contacted Zeko, back in the days when WS was just released, and he wanted to do it but obviously he was/is very busy. To shorten the long texture names is no problem, i just need the textures with the right channels.

Bye,

Mauti

@ Any random converter:

101st Airborne Division 2009
http://www.atwar.net/download.php?view.605

Just drop that onto Virtual PC, install it, then copy to Mac, and zip it.. then give to Mauti. Its in working order already. Cheesy I downloaded a few nights ago. I'd give to Mauti myself but I'm 56k. :S

Is it possible to get the Sixpence Navy SEALs 1.2 and USMC Force Recon 1.0 mods for the Mac? I can download them and unzip them using VPC, but some of the textures come out looking like this.

I'd love to be able to see all the textures.

Oops. Just saw how to do this:

Mod name:  NAVY SEALS 1.51
Which game: Ghost Recon
Author: Sixpence
Download URL: http://www.rainbowsix.org/dl/download.php?file_id=810
Short description: Character/weapon mod for Navy SEALs

Mod name: USMC Force Recon 1.0
Which game: Ghost Recon
Author: Sixpence
Download URL: http://www.fileplanet.com/dl.aspx?/planetrainbowsix/atwar/GR/equipment/usmc_fr_v10.zip
Short description: Character/weapon mod for USMC Force Recon

Well, I don't know where this mod is or if it even exists. but I would love to have a mod that randomly picks everyone's kit (except support).  You would have no idea what kit you had or what type soldier (e.g. rifleman, demo, or sniper) until the game started.  I t hinkit would be fun.  People have said this mod exists, but I can't find it anywhere.

Another mod that I would like (and don't think exists) would be one where everyone got one clip of ammo...no more...

OOops.. Probably just made a blank post. Please delete it moderator.

Anywho:

Pfarrer: USMC Marine Expeditionary Unit has been ported by me. I just haven't got a decent connection until recently to give it to Mauti. I'll be trying to contact Mauti about getting it on here ASAP.
Since you have one post and it was a while ago, I'll email you as soon as its up, assuming you have your email available to the forums...

wWeedWacker: Sorry I can't help. No idea about either of those mods, although making a mod with only 1 clip of ammunition is quite a simple adjustment to make.

Hi goofywck,

at all you can use the GRPA 4.1 mod for PC as well. You may only want to convert all sounds from aiff to wav format. That's it. I'll try to upload a version that includes both in the next days.
