Ok I have a problem with joining mohaa.... SOMETIMES.

About 50% of the time that I try to join a game, it will load reaaaally slowly and eventually... when it gets to the end of the load... say Server Disconnected. And it goes back to the main menu or the server list menu. I don't get it. I thought the problem was only because I was on a shitty computer (G3 350) but the same thing happens on my new g4 700... though not as much. Any ideas? MB i just need to reinstall?

Is this in OS 9 or OS X cause my MoH doesn't work in OS 9 cause I don't have enough memory, and in OS X you won't have that problem. Maybe thats it?

Is it just my imagination or does OSX require more memory than os9? Anyway it's both, but I only have 128 mb ram, though I am getting some more soon.

I have a 500mhz tibook with 512 ram and I run in osx pretty much all the time. So its a lot of things combined snipe.

OS9 - loads slow
128mb ram - moh eats a lot
Speed of processor - definitely a high end processor (i.e. G4 500mhz and up)
Condition of hard drive - be sure to keep your drives maintained

Suggestions:
Switch to osx
Get more ram
Optimize drives

And also be sure you ahve a decent graphics card or otherwise you'll be forced to play with everything on low detail. It even sometimes lags with low on (because of all the smg and mg fire).


If none of these things work then its time to get a new comp.

LOL! I just bought a new computer.
A nice new G4 700 mhz iMac, that's why I was so confused when it wouldn't work.
So yes, I do need to get more memory, i think that might fix a lot. My HD is brand spanking new, I have a 32 mb vid card Geforce i think, 700 mhz... mmmmmm.... and it usually does the same thing in osx as os9.
Is there something I need to know that I wouldn't know if i was just a newbie? (cause I am just a newbie to mohaa)

Ummm it could quite possibly have something to do with your connection. If you have a router or a firewall that may be interfering with moh. Unless your install disc is messed up and didn't install moh right. That is if you have an install disc  Wink

OS9 is just a bunch of trouble for me now a days, works for RS but UT fucked up for me. OSX is all I need anyway.

It's weird, OSX crashes Mohaa, but OS9 doesn't.
I find it very odd, since it doesn't work like that for anyone else.  Tongue

maybe update your osx?

If you have jag that could also be part of the problem.
OS 10.1.5 works the best with mohaa. I haven't had any problems since i installed it.

Snipe mabey buy the game of find a better "place" to "get" it or try the update at http://www.macgamefiles.com/detail.php?item=17268 for mohaa update mb it will help you.
