Howdy all,

Well I hope everyone out there had a great xmas, and a happy new Grin I have a question about adding weapons.......specificaly I want to "borrow" a few of the really cool weapons out of the "HK" mod and add them to "US-TAC" I know this can be done, but am not exactly sure how to go about doing it Huh If anyone out there could get me started in the right direction it would be most appreciated Smiley Is there maybe a tutorial somewhere perhaps? I tryed to check out some tutorials at @War, but most of those links seem to be broken Sad Thanks again for any help in this matter.

                                                     Stryker out.

merry x-mas and a happy new year to you to thank you.

I only know @war for tutorials.
But Swat and USTac work well together if both are activated...

To add weapons you need to edit several files like the stringtable, as well as adding the info files for each weapon, etc. Easiest way would be to activate both mods together, they should work flawlessly, but if that's not what you are looking to do, let us know.

Well Coco what I was hoping to do was just "add" a few of the weapons that I really like from HKITD to US-TAC, but after thinking it over, I have decided that it would probably be easier to just run both mods together  Wink  Thanks.  By the way, HKITD didn't have a sound volume file either so I made one up for it too Grin Geeeez! what is it with you guys and sound files?? LMAO!! Just kiddin' Hehe  Wink  Here is the sound volume file for HKITD...........

I think we had some issues with multiplayer crashes with the soudvol files back then.

its not in USTAC ether aight? (the sound file thingy)
I felt a bit pissed of after knowing that cos i alway carefully chose the right amount of SD and punch and then it doesnt matter if i did.
Or doesnt it affect the tangos in RS/UO?

Hey Raven,

Yeah, it sure does affect those tangos!! Try being on one side of a map, takin' out a tango with a SD pistol of all things, and every tango on the map just heard that shot  Sad Not a good thing......but I do believe that on page 2 of this forum there is another thread that I started called "Sound Volume File??" Check there for the sound file for US-TAC (if you haven't already that is Grin) It does make a BIG difference......trust me  Wink

just select the entire text of the sound volume file, then copy and paste it right into your "sound" folder for US-TAC. Do the same for the sound volume file in this thread and paste it into the "sound" folder for HKITD and thats it Grin You should be good to go. (when you do the above proccess, windows should create a new text doc. automatically. just rename that doc. to Soundvol) Hope that helps Smiley
