Where did you get your gaming name?

To bad jeb had to make his up, I wanted to know where he got his name from. On a childrens TV show there was a guy named Farmer Jeb. Maybe he got it from that

ok fine the real un glamorous truth about my name comes out...
it was the 2000 election with the whole hanging chad thingy and they kept talking about Jeb Bush, at the time i was reading the LoTR for a sifi class in school and one of the charicters was named "farmer maggot" or something like that. So i just put the two togeth somehow and Blam "farmerjeb"

Ace - My first time on GR I needed a name so I went with it. I had used it as a nickname before that, but explaining it would be a rather bland story. In retrospect, I wish I picked something more unique. There are way too many people named "Ace"

Malleus - This is the my online persona outside of GR. Anyone who has talked to me on AIM would recognize it. It comes from an AFI song ("Malleus Maleficarum" off Black Sails in the Sunset), and it means "hammer" in latin. I find it to be a lot more unique and cool than Ace, but everyone on GR knows me as Ace so I doubt I'll change anytime soon.

Malleus is also where the word ?malleable? comes from, which means easily able to form. Just for your information, I know how interested you all are!

My original and true GR nick ( also my nick in other things ) HoloGram, has been thought out by me in an dark rainy day. I though of something special, a nick that not evry body uses - sure some ppl have the same nick too - . I didnt want something normal like Killer, or God, or any Name of a action Hero of a movi.

But i alsway liked the startwars movies and the technolgie - and the teleporting stuff and the Holografic Rooms. A hologram is funny, it is something that u can see but it is not there - its an illusion. and after i though me beeing a HoloGram for the gaming community and my opponents i desided that should be my nick name.

The Nickname Angel, came from an other Idea after i joined EUR. when the clan ANGELs got inactive for a while, i needed a new nick for EUR b/c i did not want to use the same nick for two Clans. HoloGram was always and will stay an *ANGEL*. The i desided to take something that reminds my on my old Clan. so i took Angel.

  But enny ways I remembered my very 1st name. K-jah, taken from GTA3, and my other name Swami, I got that one from the movie 'The Devil's Advolcate'. Great movie by the way

Ok, I logged onto a computer, and found someone with the aim s/n "flamewind66", so I took that over, and used it as my GR name, except people called me flame, so I shortened it. Weee, lies.

I have only had 2 names on GR. Some of you that have been around for a while may remeber me as Father. When snake and I decided to form our own clan I decided to change my name to tabu for a day, then to voodoo.

On another note i basically stumbled onto GR by accident one day. I had bought Elite Force and loved playing it on there servers. It was easy to find a game at low pings. I was going through some of the files about, 3 months after i bought it, and stumbled onto the GR folder. I was like, WHATS THIS. So I installed it and took on the name Father and it was history from there. Download the RS demo, so on and so on... Some ppl. even called me Padre. ah well, lame story.

Actually walla, my first name was Falcon for some reason, and then I had to change it (won't tell why). I then picked flamewind for some reason also.
Also, you picked your name because you are a big wall-of-pee .

My original GR name was "[Janitor] Mort".  Because I was in the Janitor clan, and because my name is Mort.

Then, when Mort had a reputation for sucking and for being a jackass in games, I changed my name to Precious Roy, in honor of my favorite Sifl & Olly character: Precious Roy.  He's a sock puppet.  He likes the indigo girls. He thinks you guys smell like old soup.  He's making lotsa suckers out of boys and girls.

i started out as "macfundamentalist" on Napster mostly.
Think i had to change it when i got GameRanger with AoE1. Sine macfundamentalist is too long for the name box of GR (i think)  
then, well, uh, i just started using my brain, and came up with MacMan. I'm almost always online with MacMan or a variation of it. (MacMan.stoned, firstMacMan (on AIM and iChat)

Hmm. I changed my name from Swoop to Mr.Mellow on GR because someone kept spreading rumors about me TKing and stuff. Wasn't very nice of them, and I'm pretty sure it was Chinka/Rock who started it. haha. I ended up being in a few clans with him, too..Freaky.

well, i've been cookie for as long as i can remember online.
i think it started something like this:

me: hrm. i like cookies. so uhhh... cookie?

and then of couse the "*NADS gen" part came later when i joined *NADS and decided because capt. had a rank, i should too. then he suggested i be general, which i humbly accepted.
