For those of you that enjoy reading, what kind of stuff do you read?
What is your favorite book?

My favorite book is The World According to Garp, by John Irving who is also my favorite author. I am currently reading Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. I would recommend both, but I especially Garp? its very well written, and the scope of it is unbelievable. Probably the most thought-provoking book I've read.

I prefer non-fiction. One of my favorite stories is a real one of a Vietnam Vet. The author is Tobias Wolff. This isnt one of thos brainless marine sniper journals you find in the supermarket. The man is poetic and he is very humorous. I also enjoy many of Tolstoy's works. My favorite book would probablly have to be the book War and Peace.

Right now I'm reading "Why Gorbachev Happened", a biography about..that's right, Gorbachev. Very interesting so far. Of course, I love Tom Clancy, and all sorts of war novels and such.
