If you tk in Ghost Recon, you are a moron for not seeing that your reticule turns blue whenever you highlight your teamate. Also, the game sends you a message talking about friendly fire whenever you are hitting your own teamate. More often than not, you wont get a 1 hit kill, so you should put 2 and 2 together and stop firing ont he target.

The only problem i've ever had with being TKed is when i'm out ahead of my teammates or flanking and the noob teammate gets scared and shoots me. The problem is that most people don't check their maps. Oh well, i'll begin booting people who suck alot from my host.

They ought to make tking even MORE realistic.

As in, once you realize you've just shot your teammate (who in real life would be a trusted companion and likely friend), you have a grief reaction.

That is, you might start running around crazily out in the open (getting yourself killed.  You also might collapse on the ground sobbing (getting yourself killed) or running far away from the scene.  Or you could become determined and shoot with better accuracy.  Or you could immediately nade yourself.

See. . .that would be more fun, and it would make a penalty for stupid tking.

Well, in Raven Shield, the penalty for tk's (if the host has it on) is that the one who is tk'ed can force the tk'er to sit out a round. This is generally good for open games where anyone and everyone plays.
