Well, the title pretty much says it all. The Bruins' offense totally sucked. Despite WSU's best efforts to throw the game, the Bruins choked like the two dollar whores they are. Oh well, I should have seen this coming after they got raped 52-21, and it wasn't even as close as the final score would suggest.

The BCS selection is tomorrow, and here is what I see happening:
Fiesta - Miami vs Ohio State
Rose - Washington State vs Iowa
Sugar - Georgia vs USC
Orange - Oklahoma vs FSU

This is all based on tradition pulling Iowa into the Rose Bowl and my fuzzy understanding of the BCS selection process, so if either of those two are wrong I could be way off.

I actually preferred this outcome. This way, PUSC would have to travel all the way across the country to get to their bowl while we sit back and snap up the Holiday Bowl - just in San Diego where most of our fans can watch the game.

Oh yeah, props to your sell out fans who were doing our cheers in the end zone, lmfao.

As for your Bowl seedings, besides Miami, OSU, and WSU, the other teams and the bowls they land in are a crap shoot.

Actually Georgia is a lock as well, but the other 4 are definitely crapshoots. I have at least a 1 in 24 chance of being right on statistics alone, but it's anyone guess as to how it well turn out.

Yeah, it figures that FUCLA fans would prefer to tank a game. Seems to fit perfectly with how your football team played all season. Why strive for excellence when you can settle for mediocrity. You can have your fun in San Diego while we dominate in whatever BCS bowl we land in. Hell, there is a chance we could end up in the Rose Bowl, although I doubt it will happen.

I didn't see any of our fans, but even if they were rooting for you, it is understandable. It's not selling out, it's hoping for Roses (something I wouldn't expect you guys to know much about).

PS - 52-21

Actually, the MAIN reason I am glad we lost is so we can fire that fucknut Toledo and get someone in here (God I miss Donahue and the 7 straight over PUSC) who can make use of the talent pool that teams in Southern California have.

This campaign worked for OUSC in dumping Hackett, hopefully it will work for us too  Cheesy

Guys I have a question, why, when Georgia is ranked 3 in the bcs standings, they don't get the next highest bowl bid?  That is going on the hunch that Ace's choices are right and I completely agree with them but I don't understand why like Washingtong St. being ranked bcs 7 gets the higher bowl bid over Georgia even if I were to think, as many others do they are better, they still don't have the higher ranking?

1. Other than the Fiesta Bowl, & Georgia, it is all up to the BCS selection committees & is a crapshoot
2. None of the non-fiesta BCS bowls are really better than one another - the best thing a team can hope for is to play a more challenging opponent as to be ranked higher in the final BCS rankings if you win.
3. As an Iowa fan i would prefer to be in the Rose Bowl purely for tradition's sake, but apparently the word on the street is that the sugar bowl gets to select first out of the three BCS non-championship bowls and they want Iowa to play in their bowl. (it goes sugar, then rose, then orange as far as selection order). This has pissed off Rose Bowl officials who also reportedly want iowa in their bowl. I would also prefer to play USC because I think they would give the best challenge outside of Miami, but this also seems unlikely considering the present circumstances. So Ace, you'll just have to thank your lucky stars that USC isn't going to get ownerized in their bowl game & will be able to keep some semblance of dignity.

It is traditionally Pac 10 champ vs Big 10 champ, but this year like last year might be different. It looks like Oklahoma, the Big 12 champ, will come west to meet WSU.

Someone incorrectly above said that the Sugar Bowl would get first dibs on teams, but actually the Orange Bowl does since they lost Miami to the national title game.

Stay tuned later today for the official announcements on bowl seedings/

Tasty, it's on. This is going to be one hell of a game, I mean, watching you guys get stomped and all. I'm just bummed it doesn't happen before the Heisman voting so we can show how much superior Carson is to Banks. I just wish it were on New Years day instead of the second, but once again the greedy bastards at the BCS want more money from TV ratings.

sin you are right? i accidentaly confused the orange and sugar bowls.

and ace, btw who is winning the ESPN.com heisman poll right now? That's right, Brad Banks. And who is getting the official vote from Suzuki's Heisman.com? Brad Banks again. Who is a one-dimensional quarterback that isn't ready to lead the NFL into the 21st century? Carson Palmer. Who is a multifaceted run & gunner with instincts, speed, and a great arm? Brad Banks. Who leads the NCAA in passing efficiency (28 TDs, only 4 interceptions)? Brad Banks. Brad Banks has the 31337 skillz to win the Heisman, only remaining question will be if the voter's outrageous favoritism towards Miami gets the best of them.
