Raven Shield has some incredible graphics... only problem, it isn't for Mac. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?! Don't they realize the Mac gaming world has grown in great numbers? If they would start making these games for the Mac and not just for shitty PeeCees, imagine the more money they can make. The Mac gaming world needs a new, R6 style of play (not that R6 is very good, because the graphics are shit and the game play is horrible, well just my opinion). Rogue was a great step of R6, nice graphics and a lot more realistic.

I would be out to buy these games as soon as they came out for the Mac.

BTW: Those desktops are pretty nice, Dest.

I was just checking out some websites, damn that is one nice game. It better come out for the Mac or I will consider changing to a shitty PeeCee. One of the coolest things I found was that you can play the game in 1st Gun-Model. Where it is 1st person but you see your gun out in front of you, a very nice screenshot to see how it would be, and damn does it look nice.

Stoked,

vapor, there is one big reason they dont make games for the mac first, market size

we form, what, a quarter of the total market
even if everyone in the mac gaming gommunity bought raven shiels, it would be worth it to release it for mac first
why not simultaniously, well then you have to deal with 2 different projects at one time, and you have th have the game compatable

for these companie, it is a hell of alot easier to license to a porting house and watch the extra profits roll in

i stll wan t the game though(althoug it would MELT my current graphics card, oh well, time to upgrade)

Not even close to 25%.... more like 7%.

There are a few games that are Mac first, but economics says that it's a niche market... much more money to be had in developing for the PC.  It's cheaper to port the game to the mac then develop it from scratch on the Mac.
