Oh Cobra - keep eyes open for the HK417 (7.62x51MM) big sister to the HK416, everything that I have heard is that this is the real deal and is the next step in big bore Sniping. 1 MOA with a 12" Barrel - can you imagine the possibilities  From my source - I shot the H&K 417 yesturday and it's by far the best shooting .308 carbine I've ever shot. These guns are definatly going to bring .308 gas guns to a new level. The push rod gas system is unmatched and provided proformance like you wouldn't believe.
They had two models available for us to shoot a 12" that's right 12" and a 22" I asked why these two lenghts and they told me if they can do it in 12" and 22" they can do it anywhere in between.
The 12" gun held a 1.02 MOA out to 500 yards. I didn't get to shoot that far back yesturday, but they did some testing just recently and that's what the gun held.
H&K really answered the mail with this gun. Between the 416 and now the 417 I think Colt and Knights better start looking for something else to do. |

Too small? I didn't think they were too bad. If you click on them they open up into a larger image. While not one of Cobra's huge weapon images they are decent sized. |

They are too small brother. Maybe start lobbying that lazy cobra6 guy to get off his duff and make a decent texture. Im sure he needs to knock the rust off as well. And cobra, ole buddy ole pal, how bout a nice big texture of a Sig 552 commando as well. Since your taking request again  , or at least Im requesting you take these request |

Crap. Think those are as good as it gets. Oh well, maybe Cobra can pull himself away from BF2 for a bit and make another piece of art. One of them SIG 7.62 carbines would be sweet too. |
