I guess I'll make this bullpup, looks easy enough. But I'll be damned if that's a 7.62 magazine. It's not even as wide (side to side) as the grip is. Dunno, well hopefully I'll be able to get to it this weekend.

The M1 carbine used a .30 cal round (7.62x33 mm) that's why the mag is small.  .30 M1 carbine cartridge (left) shown next to 7.62x39mm Russian (center) and 5.56mm NATO (.223 Rem, right) |
