Two things mainly
1. Wait for an opening
2. Not ask to be a moderator Wink

Really though, you are mistaken if you think being a moderator would take any more time.

Waste countless hours like Bondo and myself have and take note of the relative activity levels of every forum member.  Then curse yourself for not having more free time.  Actual moderating work takes virtually no time at all Cool

Well, first thing Cringe is to hang around here for a while, get used to how it works, the kind of conflicts we have, earn some respect from people, and ask around the time that you become a freak, ( Note that this is not the time that SK becomes a freak, SK will never be a propper freak like the rest of us, and with our current moderators who are skilled in post deleting, probaly never ).

The marines are so good they took a jeep into some Iraq village trying to get ambushed, they refueled 6 times and did everything they could to get ambushed. and didn't!
Then the same people take in a army jeep and try not to get ambushed and they do. but the marines kill them all and go home.
