Wild Weekend in NCAA
«

Well, quite a number of upsets this weekend, my CU Buffs knocked off undefeated Kansas State...the 8, 12, 15, 22, and 23 seeds lost, a handful more like Texas, Oklahoma, Tennesee, Ohio State, and Georgia all had close calls.
That Tennessee game went to 6 OTs with no team showing any desire to actually win it.
And, both USC and UCLA lost
although neither were upsets.

UCLA won tardo, and would have been a blowout if they hadn't been lazy with the football (fumble after interception, fumble while running down the clock...led to two OSU TD's...also special teams snafu's such as a blocked FG TS return for OSU...that is three touchdowns that should have never happened). Most of the stuff Oregon state scored on was special teams crap and a few turnovers. UCLA rolled on Oregon State...Paus had his best game at QB and Ebell, a redshirt freshman, lit them up for over 200 yards on the ground. Around 625 yards of total yardage from the Bruins, and with that much offense, you aren't going to lose.
Read up Bondo before you try hitting me with low blows. This game was more of a blowout than what the final score will tell you.

I guess it was a halftime score then...but in the highlight I saw it showed Oregon State scoring a touchdown and it sounded like that won the game.
Plus, I didn't name call so your tardo comment is completely out of line...watch yourself.

I called you tardo because this isnt the first time you have either mis-interpreted things about me and used me in a generalization, or used other facts (such as your belief of UCLA losing and it not being considered an upset) and tried to insult me or rub it in my face. I have no problems with insults as long as they are based off of fact, not fiction. If UCLA did lose it would be warranted, but since they didn't, it isn't.
As for Ace's Trojans, their number one defense couldn't control Mr. Gesser, and they lost a squeaker in OT.

UCLA wasn't ranked...OSU wasn't ranked, thus there couldn't be an upset IMO. USC was below WSU so it wouldn't be one. As for it being an OT loss...as they say, a loss is a loss is a loss.

What matters to me is UVA won thier 4th straight and had they beat CSU (they lost on the 1 yard line on the last play of the game) they would be 5-1 daunted only by Florida State.
Also My Ducks of Oregon and the Fighting Irish thrash on untouched by skilled colleges such as MSU. I want an Oregon/Notre Dame Rose Bowl into the 20th OT

Yeah, Colorado State sucks like that...CSU did better in the first half as they had played Virginia before CU and CU didn't come on fast enough (in their first game) but I think the second half of that game it was apparent that CU was the better team. To bad we didn't start Hodge from Game 1 as he is better than Ochs. Instead CU had to use a game to get him into the system. Think of it this way, if Hodge had choosen to go to Nebraska instead of CU (seeing as Nebraska wanted him) he would be starting for them. Then again NU sucks this year.
As for Notre Dame...they'll be losing in two weeks to Air Force w00t. Air Force is a better "team" than anyone else in the nation I think...not the best atheletes but the most together with no personalities getting in the way.

w00t the state of iowa is owning college football this year. the u of iowa is tied for the big ten lead, defeted penn state, and is now ranked 20th in the nation under a well-balanced team that can excel in offense, defense, and special teams. iowa state is doing even better as they are now ranked 14th in the nation and their ?bertalented quarterback Seneca Wallace is leading the ESPN "heisman hopefuls" weekly poll. ph33r i0w4 all!

I guess Iowa State vs. CU is going to be the big game for the Big 12 North title this year seeing as Nebraska is shit. I do think the CU-Nebraska game could be close though as they want revenge for getting their asses handed to them last year.
