Macclans Chat and why it dosent work for me

When I try to open the file it says file cannot be opened because the original file that created it cannot be found. Where do I get the original file that created it?

first question is, did you unstuff it.  it's a .sit archive (using 6.5.1).  

if that isn't it, try downloading it again, because it's an executable app, and doesn't need any other application (unless you count carbon lib) to run.

NO I downloaded it a couple times already and I already have carbonlib on my comp

Hey Buc. The dialog box (i forgot to mention this) said it could not find appropriate translation extentions. What extensions are rewuired for aquatalk?

Cossack, your carbon lib should be the only translator you need.  have you tried it in osx yet, or just os9?

no, it's a carbon app, so it should work on both.  but if your carbon lib isn't up to date, it may be the problem.  try it in osx, that will tell you if the app is working at all.  if it is, try dowloading the latest carbon lib from the apple site, as that may be your problem.

I got carbonLib 1.6 installed on OS9 I do not have OSX on my comp. I was waiting for jaguar. NOw I have to get more money before I get jaguar. ANyhow with the latest version of carbonlib it still will not work. Well Fuck it!
