I have an Idea!( plz read this Moderatos)

I have an idea for the Battle League. Maybe We should have Types of games instead Of Team Survival How about Assassination or Stronghold? It would make it more interesting. People wouldnt get board over The same old Team Survival. Clans Could still do Team Survival. And if they do a Different type of Game both clans have to agree on it. Thats My idea. Just a thought.

Assassination has a major glitch, If you kill your own hostage you win. In stronghold it is extremeley easy to get into your opponents base involving little skill. The only alternative game mode i think would work is Scattered Teams.

I played Assassin Today. It didnt have any glitch. Maybe we should make a practice Thing for a battle league were clans try these Type of games out. We would see if it works or not.

Once again I will use the MaG Rogue Spear ladder as an example, they had a ladder that used survival, it's been proven that this doesn't work, what we have with the battle league is a good thing that we can all agree on, if you get into all of that other crap, it just gets messed up, you want to try that, then you should start your own ladder.

how about piched battles?

in other words say that damn has 3 people on, and kos has 5. they could do a 3v3 or they could do a 3v5
if they did a 3v5 then after all the scores are calculated you multiply the total points earned by the number of people on the loosing themover the num,ber people on the winning team. that way if you pull off an upset victory, you would get rewarded, and if you  simply throw bodies at the problem, then you would get less points.

I don't think any of the alternate modes are deserving of inclusion on the ladder or having their own ladder...but I would be willing to have specialty game tournements be it assassination, sniping, or whatever.

As for uneven teams...to actually put that into the points would make for extremely complicated scripting and more chance at error...playing with fire.

I agree with Bondo on those ideas, but how about this one, a personal ladder.  This ladder could be for 1v1's just like we are doing for the tournements.  Maybe you don't even have to set it up so the points are calculated like the battle league.  Just have it like the IRSL league, just count wins, losses and ties.  You could count how many games were played, and how many kills the person has.  I would think this is a really good ladder to show some of the best rs players, as there have been long debates in the past.  We could even start this with the 1v1 tourny, keeping track of all those stats and putting them on a ladder.


Also, Mattster I know you were trying to show your good forum whoring skills, but atleast spell everything correctly, especially in the title.  *Moderators.

Well survival would work maybe in a tournament but not in a ladder. It would be cool to have an ironman tournament and do a bunch of huge survivals on CSL or something though. Sniping only and Handgun only matches would be cool too and maybe even Shotties.
