Third person in CB's

Sorry Reb's, I can't stand 3rd person, I have tried it and it just sucks.  1st person, I find, is soo much easier to play on.  But that's me!!

I agree with Viper, you guys are saying "let's make RS as real as possible." Well, then let's get rid of all HBS related kit items, not to mention reticules. HBS is an unreal element of the game, just as 3rd is. However both are still part of game, and should still be active in league play.

Flame, that is kind of a good idea. What if like CBs were 5v5 and once you died you were no longer part in the CB and the clan with the last guy standing wins the CB. That would be cool however, the game doesn't work that way.

this is just my personal opinion about 3rd person:

3rd person is cheap , lame and it makes the game crap. u think waiting at a corner all game and peeking around has anything to do with skill? wrong. its annoying, and the guys didnt give us the option to turn it off for no reason.

If you are going for realism, third person should be off. From what I've seen, people only use it to peek around corners anyway. So in otherwords, I'd just say to just turn 'em off.

It only takes away from the skill. Whats the point in having a ladder and tournaments if your testing how well someone uses 3rd person.

After thinking about my statement, I realize that using third person is a part of the game. That would be part of the test of skill that CBs should be about. But if it is found out that people are ONLY using it for camping around corners, then of course it should be banned.

The only way you can get away with having no reticle is by having a light gun...otherwise you have no clue where you are aimed...unless the middle of your screen is where your aim is.

The cloest thing to 3rd person in real life, is taking a mirror and taping it to your knife to peek around corners.

I agree 3rd is lame, but it is as much a part of game as HBS. If 3rd should go, so should HBS.

well, the creators of the rainbowsix series consider 3rd person cheating, thats why the rogue spear patch had 3rd person as an option, and why it wont be included at all in Raven Shield..

If you wanted CB's to improve in quality banning 3rd person and HBS would help.
