Hi Modreview staff,

Fasst made an excellent review about the Swamp map and here I want to mention the things you should also integrate in your review and the things you could do better:

First about the good things. The content of the review was purely brilliant Fasst added some questions of an online player (JohnNothing in this review) as well as opinions from his clan.
Also the fact that he mentioned how the map feels in single player and multiplayer with various connections is very useful for the reader.
The introduction, simple the whole review wasn't to long and very informative and the pics were also nice.

The only thing you should add are individual rankings after each paragraph(except the introduction) so the reader has a better overview.(The Overall Ranking in the end isn't an average rating of all individual ratings, compare with the Rainbow Six Never Dies review) The individual ratings should help the reader to see if the map satisfies his wishes in each category or not.

The link to the creator can be simpler but it is also fine as Fasst did (see R6 Never Dies and PoA review)

I think thats it and I can't await to see more reviews also all Staff members often go to the staff login site to read through guidelines how to use the scripts and which things you should have in your reviews, articles and more....

Thanks for the support guys...and I'm sorry I didn't get back to you earlier on this, but my monitor died and I've been trying to get Apple to change it for me free of charge since I bought it less than 2 years ago...and I paid alot for it. I have no more patience for Apple...I am now on a 10 year old 15 inch Samsung and boy do I miss my monitor...grrr Apple makes me mad...

I will be writing another review shortly and I hope it will conform to your wishes Mauti...=)

I don't know about the individual rating system...for me it's too much info...What I mean is that I don't think it should be too complicated for the reader to get a rating...6.5 out of 10 overal should be enough for him to decide. Plus the comments are there and they pretty much tell the reader if I liked it or not...
anyways...I'll go and write a review now...cya guys later on gr maybe?

Well you are right and wrong. Probably it depends on what you review a map mod or a total conversion mod like R6 Never Dies is. However it is up to you how you do it! I think if every reviewer has his own style it is more interesting for the reader!

yeah he's right.  There isn't really any point saying "the installer is an 8, but the graphics are a 6" if you have good comments, but Zom@r's maps, for instance, required individual attention.

Wink I hear ya dood...I don't like to dilly dally...I get to the point as fast as I can. In a review I write down how I found the game to be like. I am not a guy who knows a whole hell of alot about the why and how of these games, in other words ask me something technical and I won't be able to answer...But I do play the games and I know what to look for in a game...anyways I'm babbling on here...so I'll shut up now, but you get my point?
