Let me first say that I firmly believe in a person?s 1st Amendment right to free speech, but with that right come responsibilities. I think your School Map may be bad idea. Let me give you some of the reasons why I believe this.
1st. People are fed up with violence in the schools. I live in San Diego County (where we have had 2 school shootings) and I can tell you that the emotions associated with violence in the schools run strong.
2nd. Law enforcement officials take school violence very seriously and will do whatever is necessary to curb the problem. Judges are going to be more inclined to issue a search warrant with less probable cause when it comes to a possible plan of violence in a school.
3rd. You may be inviting your local SWAT team to come busting in your front door at 0400 with a search warrant to search your house and seize your computer and any weapons that you may have. Officials may take your 3d school map as a precursor to an act of violence in your school.
The time is not right for this kind of map, but that is my opinion. Like I said you have the right to free speech, but remember there are responsibilities and repercussions that come with that right.
