Anybody out there want there boys in blue feature in the Official SWAT Mod let us know. Here is what we need: A good quality JPEG of the unit patch, a list of weapons used by that team, and a short bio/history of the team.

I just visited Cocobolo's website and gathered all infos about the new SWAT patch. By the way ?I would like to see good old baseball caps for the SWAT unis like some light camos of R6 and the bad GS Security guys had. In every action movie you see the SWAT team wearing cool baseball caps so you should add one with a normal basebal cap and for the snipers a model with a reverse basebal cap.

Actually Coco said he was doing that for one of the uni's, but I'm not sure which one. he also said something about character models, but I don't know what he is talking about with those.

ha ha lol..
One of the LA SWAT models has a forward facing ball cap, and one of the Newark ones has a backwards facing one for the sniper, I read your mind Mauti! And I am not doing all the models, FLint is doing a decent amount... Tongue

You guys could probably do the local SWAT team in a day. Two unis, virtually alike, one with faceplate, one without, M4 w/Aimpoint, 635 w/short barrel and aimpoint, one ballistic shield, Glock 19/.40s, Remington 870 in 12ga, Remington 700/7.62x51.

The Oro Valley Police Department
Special Weapons and Tactics team

The Oro Valley Police S.W.A.T. Team was first established in 1992 when the Police Department recognized that as the Town grew and the resources available from neighboring agencies decreased, the need for a specialized tactical response unit was a priority. The first Team consisted of four officers, one sergeant and the Operations Division Lieutenant. The Team has since grown to eighteen (18) members including the Operations Division Commander and two  sergeants. Along with operations conducted within the Town of Oro Valley, the Oro Valley S.W.A.T. Team has been requested to assist other departments including municipal, state and federal  agencies. All members of the team receive intense tactical training in the use of: handguns, automatic weapons, explosive devices and defensive tactics. They are trained in warrant entry, hostage situations and rescue, rappelling from buildings and much more.

More to come, including patch.
