UO, RS, and my editors no longer work. I get the following message:

Sounds like your problem is in the medula oblongata.

Page faults are a lotta times caused by bad RAM, the stack dump could be a result of the same thing, a processor error, or a seperate software error. If you have more than 1 RAM chip in there, take one out, and try again, if it still screws up, put that one back and take out the other one(s). That can at least isolate the error if it is RAM related. If it still errors up no matter what RAM is in it, make sure your CPU fan is working right. Has it been hot last couple days? That's a possibility.
Lastly, if it's a software error, throw the windows 98 CD back in and boot off of a floppy system disk, and at the A:, type setup. That will launch the windows installation, but don't worry, it will only restore windows files, everything else will be untouched. DO that last, and if it's a software error that will  95% most likely fix it.
If this all fails, you could have a bad processor, or possibly (gulp) motherboard. These are less likely, but I see 'em every day so I can't say it doesn't happen...

Hope that helps! Grin

Wow! Got it fixed finally. Really weird only UO Editor and R/S and U/O were effected. I ran a virus check, scan disk, and then finally ran the Windows Setup again and reinstalled R/S and U/O and magically that worked. Whew!!!
