Ok here is your first look at HOPEFULLY will be our next mod. The International TAC Mod


Here is a list of the units that will be featured
Australia - TAG/OAT
Austria ? - Gendarmerieeinsatzkommando
Brazil ? ?- 1st SF Battalion
Canada ? ?- Halifax Regional Police
Columbia ?- AFEU
England ? - SAS
France ? ?- GIGN
Germany ? - GSG9
Greece ? ?- EKAM
Israel ? ?- Ya'Ma'M

Russia ? ?- Spetznaz
US ? ? ? ?- Delta Force
UN ? ? ? ?- Team Rainbow

Of course this is a preliminary list, and subject to change.
Now I have to talk Coco in to this and from what it looks like this will not be completed unitl the first of the year.
You can mark this as the date I started on this. I already have 8 weapons completed that you can not see in the screen shot.

After many had to clean their keyboards at the release of the U.S. Tac Mod because of all the drool, I'm sure many will just have to be replaced at the release of your next mod. It should not be Always Coca -Cola, it should be Always Cocobolo! Good luck on your next mod i'm sure you will knock us out! Enough sucking up.

..cringe! I actually have most of the SF insignias for these teams, I had also planned DEVGRU and force recon marines.. But this is gonna be a while if we go this route. I kinda want to do a couple smaller things before we get into the meat of this one. Something with a map.....heh heh

I want to do at least one US TAC update with new teams, weps, etc..to push TAC further, it has a lot of potential for expansion. There are a lot of small things I want to add to it, just tweaking a lot of things. RLTC is occupying most of my time now Huh

   Damn Cobra

              We all just hope that when GHOST RECON comes out it does'nt take the steam out of your International Tac Mod project !  I belive everyone is going to jump on the band wagon when it does come out and leave the RS series behind. No where does it say you can mod the files in Ghost Recon but am sure coco and you will tear it apart and be the 1st to get a mod out for it before anyone else .

From what I hear, GR will not have a mod system like UO does. In any event, I would never join the bandwagon and abandon RS. For those who leave RS behind and go for GR, that's cool, but without mods it will not last. I'm sure it'll be a hot game, but there are other hot games out here and they just can't hold my interest. Huh

If it's possible to make non-overwriting mods for GR then it may have potential. If they overwrite, then hmmmm... perhaps full conversions like half life mods are possible...that's another story.... Wink

One of the developers on the GR forum said that it's going to have a mods system similar(SP?) to UO.

Edit: Actually I think it's in one of the dev diaries.
