Problem reticules
«

Got problems with my custom rets, Im making them using a 121 x 121 pixels image (odd number so there is a central line which supposedly would line up with the ingame markers). Still when I get the ret ingame the cross hairs are always to one side and never centralised, any advice or is it something you have to live with?
Thanks

Whatever size the image is, if it's a perfect square, the center should always be the ret center. What I do is use the path tool to form an "X" from corner to corner, and then draw the ret and delete the path. Works well for me, but Cobra's got better rets, maybe he knows a better way!

Using Photoshop 5.0. I make an image 120x120 at a 100 resoulution with a white background. Then I make a layer called "alignment" I draw lines from each corner to the opposite corner/ I then switch back to my original layer and make the reticle. Good trick in photoshop is to make the actual ret on another image, once your done with that select the image as close to the ret as possible and copy it. Now paste the image you made on the 120x120 image and it usually comes up centered for you automaticaly. I use CK's tutorial for my rets...rel easy to follow
