QUESTION: why do special forces ever use loud weapons if they can use SD weapons??

To effectively "SD" a bullet, you have to slow it down to the sub-sonic level.  Slowing a round down affects its performance, reducing its penetration and quite probably its knockdown power.

Not AKs though. I like AKs but they would not work for this mod. They suck in GR.

Shayetet 13 (Israeli SEAL types) uses the AK47 when they don't want to be identified.

The AK47 is a notoriously reliable weapon, especially for use in the mud.
