my write up:

batman begins- sexy.
war of the worlds- i wanted the kids to die the whole time, they were irritating x10
wedding crashers- one of the funniest movies i think i've ever seen, there were a few parts i was almost in tears
march of the penguins- amazing, really well done
charlie and the chocolate factory- some inconsistencies, but i loved it nonetheless.
skeleton key- mediocre. kind of a mindfuck, too.
40 year old virgin- sooo funny, but incredibly vulgar.

and i think i'm cashed.

Definately in the wrong city! We need more love

Oh well I saw also a few movies recently:

Crash: quite good, especially the end - until the middle it is a bit to black and white imo
Charlie and the Choclate Factory - it seems in USA everyone knew this story, I didn't, and found the movie very boring.
The Island: a good entertaining summer movie especially the future of public transportation in  Los Angeles made me laugh ;-)

I saw Green Street Hooligans the other day.... bloody great film.  Especially if you like English Premier Soccer.  Not particularly good acting or stroyline, but entertaining nonetheless.

Also saw The Transporter 2.... a completely ridiculous amalgamation of action scenes... but FUN.

My GF and I just saw "Just Like Heaven" at the theatre.

It was good, funny at times and sad at others but overall uplifting at the end.  It's probably better if you watch it with gf or wife because it's that kind of movie.

Ah yeah i saw the trailer for serenity.. wouldn't mind seeing it.

Massive fire in a warehouse here in bristol destroyed a huge ammount of stuff of Aardemans, including old sets and models from Wallace and Gromit a grand day out, story boards, sketches and lots of the original "Creature Comforts" figures Sad

Recently seen:

Nightwatch, strangle film I didn't think it was great. Good directing although over the top at times. Also it was all in Russian which wasn't too bad.

Goal, I didn't see this by choice, it looked cheesy as * and it was. It was a good little 'feel good' movie though.

BoonDock Saints Old film, never can out in the cinema but its a pretty kick ass movie, I'd recommend it.
