Thats great! I wonder if the government will ever use these little wonders in combat. Flipping & bouncing tangos.. do I smell a new Clancy title? Rainbow Six: Boot Battalion. Coming to PC tomorrow, on mac never.

I am seriously considering buying a pair of these how much do they run for? The mischief that will unfold will probably be worth the price.

I hear ya, BFG. Those boots are one of the things motivating me to lose weight. : D

Haz, surely one of the people here who speaks German would translate. Or you could just run it through the Fish.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&q=powerisers.de&btnG=Search

Click the translate button. It doesn't get everything, but it should be enough to get to the online order page I think...

Got to this part: http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl=en&u=http://www.powerisers.de/shop/index.html&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dpowerisers.de%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DG

Looks like it's just different jump boots based on the weight in kg they can support.

Anybody looked at how expensive these damn things are?

About $500, a tad rediculous right now, hopefully they'll go down then I might actually consider.

I dunno, considering what they are and how well they're constructed (presumably), it's a fairly reasonable price. $500 is for the 240-pound model, too. The skinny bastards get off cheaper. If I lose enough weight to use them, I'm definitely spending $500 for a pair. Go out and have a nice jog at nearly the same speed as you'd get on a bike, but with more mobility? Sounds good to me.

Here in Switzerland, they sell those boots for USD 300 (EUR 235). It's probably a special offer, but it's a model that can hold from 70 - 80 KG:

Found a place in the US selling them. They seem to have a good supply and more coming. They have them for $480 with free shipping.

Wellity, wellity, wellity. Toys for Boys lists an M120 model that supports up to 300 pounds. They don't seem to sell it, though?

My only question is how good are they at 1) Running, and 2) Stopping suddenly.  I have this vision in my head of running around, having somebody run infront of me and trying to stop and going over facefirst to pancake on the pavement.

Or I suppose I could just flip over them.  If only I were that acrobatic.
