I've had Hey Jude stuck in my head all day.   wallbashing

I love that song!  In fact, I love all of the Beatles music!

I miss having Wiggy in BTs with us...during CBs he would sing Yellow Submarine over NetFone.

Johnny Cash. American IV.
That guy poured his whole soul into his music, which is something very rare in music nowadays.

Btw.: The Beatles are the gayest band ever. I dont think there's anything more aggravating than hearing "i wanna hold your hand" or fucking "yellow submarine".

F.S.K(Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle) - John Peel Sessions(1986) - I wish I could sprechen sie deutsch. This song is insane and makes me smile.

Andreas Dorau - Girls in Love(1998), Fred vom Jupiter(1982) (Norddeutsche Welle). Nothing special, but both songs have something that makes me listening them again and again...

Chris and Cosey - October Love Song (Alternative - Electro)

Oh, is that why they are THE MOST SUCCESSFUL BAND IN MUSIC HISTORY???  Yeah, that's right, the most successful EVER, in the history of the WORLD.  The music of Lennon/McCartney will live on forever.  Hell, every year somebody takes an old Beatles song and remakes it (Tiffany, Boyz II Men, Maroon 5, Bette Midler, Leanne Rimes, and many others have made big hits out of old Beatles Songs).  So just because you don't like them, remember...there are about a BILLION people in this world that love them.

Oh, and right now I'm listening to Maroon 5's remake of "If I Fell" by the Beatles.

hi guys,

a friend is giving a big party on thursday and I would like to hear what songs come to your mind that are great for dancing and transport a good mood!? It shouldn't be too extreme because the dance part isn't really seperated from the tables and couches so just great songs for dancing and talking.

Bye,

Well I suppose this is a matter of taste but but personally when I'm at a party I like listening to Disco oldies, funk and upbeat techno. Such as (but not restricted to):

Car Wash - Rose Royce
Bhindi Bhagee - Joe Strummer
ABC and "I want you back" - Jackson5
Shake Shake Shake - KC. And the Sunshine band
Baby Give It Up - KC. And the Sunshine band
Ring My Bell - Anita Ward
Take Me To The Clouds Above - LMC
Miami and "Getting Jiggy with it"  - Will Smith  Smiley

If you liked those I can recommend more.  Wink
