Phantom Planet -  California

I know its the theme song to the OC and I know that its lame, but its such a great song. I saw them in concert opening for incubus about three years ago and they put on a pretty good show.

Silhouettes - Smile Empty Soul

Great alternative rock band, getting famous for a couple of songs for "the Punisher" and Spiderman 2 . Simply one of my favourite rock bands so far

Pink Floyd, Dark side of the moon. An oldie..but a brilliant one, and perhaps one of the better albums released the last century.

Revolution 1 - The Beatles. from the white album. Also possibly one of the best. I remember when I was eight finding my mothers old copy of the white album complete with the poster, and being blown away.
