I believe it was long since confirmed the 2007 version for some other console was the PC one? So that means you have until 2008 for mac version.

Well it didn't take that long for Splinter Cell to port, unless i've been too stoned for the last 4 years to remember when it came out for PS2.

If it is close to 2008...i just can't wait that long!

Most notably, GhR 2 is missing recoil.  I figured GhR 1 would be the last of the no-recoil games.  The trailers are amazingly boring.  Walk, fire, walk, fire. Listen to the voice instructions.

Hopefully the Mac MP games will have proper recoil and tactical play from engaging real people.

There are some who consider that when firing your gun, it does not equal a 7.0 earthquake on the richter scale as it is portrayed in RvS and other games with "recoil". The expanding reticule, as it is done in GhR portrays the momentarly diffusion better in my oppinion, then again I haven't fired any real guns in my life  Tongue

I would love to her what GS has to say on this, when you fire a gun, does your whole field of vision shake?  Another example, when you engage an enemy in GhR and RvS, which of the subsequent firefights is closer to reality?

Heres what makes the "recoil system" the looser in my oppinion: Two elite soldiers walk into a small room with automatic assault rifles, they spot each other at the same time and notice they are wearing different uniforms. Both open fire.. . RvS: Both run around sideways in the small room for 10 seconds, with full auto missing the other guy within a distance of 2m. GhR: First shot hits

From the view of a db Shotgun you get a kick - and there certainly is no way you can 'hold' the gun level to stop that kick... but its not exactly a 7.0 earthquake like you say Wink

i think your right as well joka - i prefer the reticle movement rather than a physical kick of the gun...

It just seems to be a console game trend to have a terrible Ret system. I mean... Lips Sealed

I prefer the AA guns... but with lag on slower machines it makes it almost unplayable...  Cool
