Marines... it bothers me that you claim to have the answer and are so sure of yourself when you are asking an opinion question. And who are you to judge who creates the bravest soldiers?

That still doesn't mean you can judge who produces the bravest soldiers.

Um, No.  And it might also suprise you that most of the members of the military in those other units will tell you the same thing I am gonna tell you later.

Why yes they are, as a matter of fact.  I can speak from first hand experience having trained with them as well.  But if you want to vote for the British SAS, you have to go to my other poll.....

Indeed.  Let's start a "Which is the Best Special Op's Unit in Zimbabwe?" thread ASAP, so you don't feel left out.  You may not like the topic, but just because it's about the US?  Hmm...why don't you go start another topic about the country of your choice.

You know what I dont care what people say about these threads I am just gonna vote and give my opinion on the matter because I consider myself somewhat informed on military issues.

My opinion would have to be the Green Berets. The Green Berets are the most intelligent out there and serve the most vital purpose. The Green Berets were constructed with the intent to use them to convert and train indigenous forces. If you are going to have an intervention in some nation it is a good idea you get the support of the populous and have a competantly trained populous. Green Berets are also widely used from a rescue mission in the Congo, to Vietnam, to Afghanistan, to Iraq, to Panama, to many small brushfire conflicts in Latin America. Green Berets have been there and have modernized allied infantry all over the world (some of these allied infantry units arent very humane such as the death squads in Nicaragua, but are well trained none the less).

First of all, you saying you have trained with them all including the SAS I think is a crock of shizzy, if you were that well trained and had that shit going on in your life you would definately not be here.

And it's a fact Delta force is the best. They are made up of the best of the best from those other groups. If you trained with them...still lmfao...you would have already known this.

LOL i hadn't noticed that bit.

"Bollocks" mate. Im sorry but we arn't stupid. There is NO WAY on earth you can have SERVED and trained with ever single force listed here. so you have served and trained the following?

 Army Rangers
 Army Special Forces (Green Berets)
 Delta Force
 Air Force Combat Controllers
 Air Force Pararescuemen
 Navy SEALS
 Marine Force Recon

Plus you have trained with the SAS?!

Im sorry i don't mean to laugh. I just don't believe it for a second.

Okay, for all of you idiots out there......I was a U.S. Army Ranger and later transferred into the U.S. Air Force where I served with Air Force Special Operations Command at Herbie.  As a Ranger, and later with the Air Force, I trained with nearly every Special Operations force in the WORLD (what, you people don't think that other country's military units don't train with the United States???).  So YES, I trained and served (in peacetime) with the Green Berets, Delta Force, Air Force Combat Controllers and Pararescuemen, Navy SEALS, Marine Force Recon, British SAS, and even a few groups none of you have ever heard of.....THIS DOES NOT mean I was a MEMBER of those units, I simply served with them for short periods of time during training missions (the Special Op's forces of the world do in fact train with each other).

Now that I've enlightened you all, I need to get some work done (cause some of you can't get it through your head that just because I served 8 years in the armed forces, I AM NOT CURRENTLY in the military).

Consider yourself pwned.

Peace.
