In the new updates for the rules.. you now say we can play all the DP maps...

I think this can be a HUGE problem...

DP01 Stronghold..
DP02 Farm Day
DP03 Creekbed
DP04 Wilderness
DP05 Ravine


Anyone else see the same problem? Being that this is a CLOSE QUARTERS Battle ladder?

For those slow people who dont get it....
Try playing a 2v2 no sensors 5 minutes on wilderness... lets see how close you can really get...

I say lets keep Creek but throw out the other maps...

I completeley and whole-heartedly agree with Sir eight on this issue.  For practice the other maps could be utilized , but would detract from the CQB cbs if used.

Guys, you make a good point.  Those maps aren't cqb.  But honestly, I can enjoy a 2v2 on ravine and stronghold more than creekbed.  The solution here is, if you don't like it, don't pick it.  We don't need a new rule to say it isn't allowed.  Just don't pick it, and I'm reasonably sure no one else will want to pick them either. Wink

We had somepone pick stronghold. It became a camp fest. The other team just camped.

Yeah, I have to agree.  If it's a close quarters ladder, it should be close quarters.  Farm Day is about as far from that as you can get.

Yeah, he might be right that Wilderness and maps of the size shouldnt be played for a 2 vs 2 cqb game with only 5 min games.  It would take 5 min just to cover the whole map just once.  so it's very easy to miss people on that map.  Some others as well I can see Eight's point.  Although there are some maps that are somewhat big that I can see being played.  But Wilderness and farm day arent one of them.

hey,

i think that only DP03 of the DP maps should be allowed for CQB matches.
the other maps are simply too big and are not Close Quarter Battles.
