I kinda think this has possibilites.

Too bad it wasnt announced earlier so we could have offered feedback as to the gametypes..

I could envision that points could be awarded for levels of  difficulty, number of terros and time completed.
Hostage coop with forty elite on any map is fairly challenging, and I could see it leading to some exciting play actually. There are some GREAT missions on Monos Maps as well, bomb setting, bomb defusing, and info retreival..

i remember seeing some pc league doing the same thing with rs years ago. the rules there if i remember rightly were missions and hostage rescue all on elite and it was an against the clock type affair.

I think it would be fun.

Some infos prehand:

There will be 4 missions we give you and you have to complete them and submit the time until the end of the season.

You always submit the time you need to accomplish the mission. The clan with the shortest overall time is the winner. If you don't accomplish a mission the mission will be counted with 60minutes.

Missions as well as the fine print will be posted soon. I just wanna check out if I can modify the script easily so you can autosubmit your scores and don't have to post them in the forum. At all you need to sign up at the BL page to participate.

So does that mean Four missions in total are issued and each clan can do the missions as many times as it takes to pass it, and pass it the fastest? And then subit their four best times?

And do the clans submit screenshots to prove their times?
becuase unlike a CB a team can claim whatever time they wish.

Do terro kills count in addition to passing themission? sometimes the missions can be accomplished without killing all the terros.

Exactly - every clan has to keep all screenshots of each round as proof until the season ends + 1 week. Screenshots will be controlled from time to time - if a clan can't show a screenshot the clan will be banned for this and next season from all coop ladders.

Time counts - the 4 missions have different objectives. At all there will be 1 easy, 2 medium and 1 difficult mission.

I suggest instead of banning the clan for not having a screenshot, just give them the max time for that map as if they never finished or competed on it.

You can still sign up for the RvS Coop ladder until 23rd december, if you think you can accomplish the posted missions in quite a good time ;-)

Unfortunaly due the fact that only the FFA team participated no winner icons will be sent out. However your great times and efforts have been mentioned in the *DBL season XII winners post today.
