PS On a lighter note, Howard Dean is the head of the DNC! HAHA! This means the next president WILL BE REPUBLICAN!
No, it means the Democrats will have a strong grassroots movement and good fundraising. Which will help further energize the Democrats base, which will give them a leg up. Having a better candidate than John Kerry will be the important factor. The DNC chair is just about organization and funding, not policy, thus Dean being there won't hurt the Democrats unless you think he is worse in the minds of Democrats than other options (which I'm not convinced of.)
