:Huge fake smile:. See this thing on my face? It's called a smile! You know what's special about it? If you're going to post in this thread, you're going to wear one just like it! I'm as critical about the BL as anyone. If you want to bitch about things, there are plenty of other threads, and chances are I'll agree with you. Let's keep this one positive.

From a Raven Shield standpoint, opening day was a success. It's great to see some new clans CBing. Doctor seems to have gotten off to a quick start. Nice job guys, but be careful. If you get too far ahead, you may awaken a sleeping giant. Wink It's also great to see that Core has already started. I was disapointed when you guys weren't playing last season.

I got Ethernet hooked up in 2 rooms today, so I should be able to catch some action soon, hopefully later today.

We have some new clans on the ladder; NmE, DTC and aP just to name a few. Oh, and of course TF6, back from the late RS days. I was very pleased to see all of you get started right away. One of the big problems with the RvS ladder in the past is that it seems that people had the idea that to be in a clan, you had to be at the level of c|, MP5 or BoC. It seems that perhaps we're finally getting passed that. Hopefully this season we'll see more CBs that don't involve one of the top few clans.

I'm sure some of you will catch the slight ulterior motive behind this post. But for the most part, I just want to encourage everyone to keep CBing, and remind people that that it's about fun, even if you can't compete with the top clans, it can still be fun.

Might be easier if Typhy and I found a dedicated server in russian and went head to head on that.Wink Jokes aside, my conneciton and comp seem to do fine on mid western servers(america that is) so I don't see it as a big problem if I have to play on a server over the pond Wink Good start, good league and looking forward to good CB's against you all(just remember, the :MoD: team are players from europe and america, so CB's might require some planning for our boys to be on at the same time)

Myst's server usual does pretty well ( East Coast of Canada ). Like Brutha said, if we could find something in Russian, he and I would do alright. Wink

We're not fans of scheduled CBs at all, but we're on all the time, so it shouldn't be to hard to get something going.

Here to report that the FFA Ladder is as fun as ever.  Oh, and I'm still alive after my tonsils came out this morning, so I should be on soon to whip some ass.[/size]  Wink

I imagine you throat feels pretty nice, GS. Wink I had mine out years ago. Blech, at least with the apendix, once it's out, it's relatively painless. Tonsils on the other hand feel like someone just lit a fire inside your throat.
