Apple was sending me a 1 gig G4 14" iBook; the last revision before the newest revision. This was to replace my shitty, recalled old '02 iBook.

Instead, Apple has sent me the new 1.2 gig G4 iBook.

.....

APPLE FUCKING RULES!!!!!!

Wow, that's great!  I'm shocked!  I wanna rush to eBay and buy one of the bad ones so I can turn around and get a trade-up from Apple!  lol

Jeez man, you're lucky Apple is such a rock solid company, any other would have shipped you exactly what you got or as something they had that was as close to what you had.

Maybe i should snap this iMac's neck and say it tried to hang itself.

Same thing happened to me with my old Powerbook. Ordered a 667Mhz G4, then the 800Mhz model came out - Apple shipped me a 800.

A blast from the past...

Crypt, this is hardly exclusive to Apple. Any computer company would try to replace his computer with the oldest possible model, only upgrading him if the older models were not in stock. If you read his other thread, you will note that he said that the older models were on backorder or out of stock.
