Why isn't there a huge uproar about this? So much seems to go unnoticed its amazing. That article sounded like it was talking about China not the US... No worse than china.

If things like this are gonna happen what exactly can we be expecting next?

Talk about in our backyard! That's my fuckin college librarian they're talking about! And she's awesome too. I also know one of the Catholic Worker detainees, and they are awesome, nonviolent, religious people who would never hurt anyone. Tough to say yet because of the secrecy surrounding these proceedings, but it reeks like serious BS.

Are you seriouse tasty? oh my freaking god. I just can't believe they are getting away with this... the country that claims to be the defenders of freedom and democracy and they do this... not exactly what i call free or democaticc.

I was in Des Moines protesting at the courthouse today. All of the detainees were exonerated, thankfully. The subpoenas are still out on the National Lawyers Guild though?

I'm glad that this blew up in their face though. Intimidation of protesters will NOT work, assholes.
