From page 102 of the Power Mac G5 setup guide:

"High-Risk Activities Warning
This computer is not intended for use in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, or air traffic control machines, or for any other uses where the failure of the computer system counld lead to death, personal injury or severe environmental damage."

Does this mean I can't use it for my WMD program???

Well the US Goverment did orgininally classify the G4 as a armament and restrict the processors export to 'certian' countries...

I made a cool bomb with my g3 so i cant wait untill I get a g5.

Well if oyu use it for air control and then the system crashes and an airplane crashes and people die apple might get to pay for it. Its like people who backup warez and say its all the fault of the user if he downloads it.

I cant wait untill they say that you may only use your computer in an enviroment(or how you spell it) with 20?, only let child touch it when an adult is nearby, you may only touch the keyboard and the mouse otherwise if something goes wrong its all your fault and we cant help ya.we warned ya.

actually there might be something worthwhile in posting here about g5s

A week or so ago i read some shit on hard drive failures in g5s being linked to drive heat in the upper slot in the drive bay on xlr8yourmac.com

Anyhow my hard drive was at 118 degrees before i moved it down, and now its at a cool 74degrees.  This might help performance slightly.

Well I have also heard reports that in 10% of the G5 that have bee nproduces had prosessor failures... mostly os the 1.8 and 2.0 gig models.....
