I think...That clans can use what ever mods they wish, if they both agree on it.

I think a major reason that IT hasn't been adopted already is because it lags on most people's comps that I  know of.

I believe we have someone working on a MOD that allows all IT guns and Game types to be played, (not the IT maps) - but also removing any element of lag which many people suffer from with IT activated

One thing with Frostbite, is the fact that there are sniper kits with sensors, which is campers paradise, although i would absolutely love a cb with those. With IT, the MM1 could be abused and such. Also, the command maps aren't availilble for either yet, but an increase of value of IT and FB could result in command maps for those maps.

i'd love to see the frostbite maps in there though...they seem to lag less than the IT maps.  and for the love of god, we need something new to spice things up.

Well, as BFG has stated I was working on a way we could have all the gaming styles that are used for IT to where they dont lagg as much.  Well, i have finally mdde a mod that will allow you to play all of those gaming styles without the lagg that associated with the huge maps that IT created.
Basically it is a mod but in reality all I did was take out all the serious lagg features out of the mp2 file to allow for easy gameplay on the Ghost Recon and IT maps.  I did however, have to take out the IT maps to help alleviate lagg felt by many of the slower computers.  Although the plus of the mod is that all of the guns are still in the mod from IT and all the gameplay features, just not the IT maps.  If you  look at an IT map you will notice that the IT maps on the average are about 22.00 megs.  On the average a desert siege map has about half that at about 9-10 megs.  So that is why we had to eliminate the IT maps for this reason.  Until most comps can handle the lagg from those maps I just decided to then make this mod to allow the IT gameplay to be used but without the lagg maps.  Even though they kick ass for maps.  I will be sending it to Mauti ASAP to be put up for use.

well, that's a bummer.  I can udnerstand though, although it is only certain parts of the game, not the whole thing.  But for copywright I wasnt aware that they actually made a Mac version of IT.  But in either case what would I have to do to make it so that it is moddable?  Cause for now it is set as a sepertate mod.

I think i saw a tutorial of this somewhere. Check the older topics in the ghost recon section, ie:Frame Rates Thread.I think using itunes you can select the wav files and convert them all to aiff.

The reason why I can distribute the Island Thunder Mac patch is that it doesn't work alone without IT. Same with mods that have some modded IT files but still require IT.

Cossak if the other clan agrees you can of course play IT and FB maps. I would love to do a FB only cb. So nice maps, weaps and fps.

I started converting each and every sound file from IT until I found a download of all the converted soundfiles. This was the easiest and fastest way to convert the soundfiles.  I even think I downloaded it from the DAMN mac Downloads, but DAMNed if I know, lol.

Ummm maybe you can use Soundjam...

I know you can use it to convert MP3 to aiff. You just have to put them in the queue and it starts converting them one by one.

But as I said I don't know if it will work for wav files.

I'll check it and report back...

I don't know if soundjam is available for OS X though, its an OS 9 app.

you can use iTunes for converting the soundfiles too. just put the files in a seperate playlist, and select AIFF as the conversion codec. then, select "convert to aiff" in the menu.
