you may wanna read up on the ATI cards before you buy one. I dont know the reason behind it but I bought the ATI 8500 64mb card instead of the 9000 because it got a better review and everyone I talked to said the 8500 would get me better frame rate. Wich it does. On my g4 little 400mhz machine I get anywhere from 20-60 fps. On an average I run around 40fps. At $220.00 its a little pricey but well spent money.

OTHER THEN THE OSX NIGHT VISION PROBLEM. GRRRRRRRR Angry

thanks for the info +AgT+ yeah the night vision problem sucks but thankfully i run os9 i heard it works well in that os.  if i cant wait for the 9700 i get the 9000 cause it directly supports my monitor without buying adapters for the usb and video connections.
still though any word on the 9700 release date w/out buying a new machine?
