*DAMN Ghost Recon Tournaments

With the start of the new battle league near and the addition of a new game coming to the battle league, we will be hosting two 1v1 Ghost Recon tournaments.  This will be a thread for rules, discussion, problems and a drop box.  As of right now, we feel the best way for a 1v1 would still be to go by some regular rules.  Best of 10, ties count, 5 on each host if you wish, up to 5 tests for lag, shouldn't be too much.  This should help kick off some nice GhR and GhR demo action.  The tournaments will be for 8 people each so that they will actually be able to be completed.  If you've joined one of the earlier DAMN tournaments and failed to complete a battle you will not be accepted into one of these tournaments,  also if an admin of this tournament, feels you are the type of person that will just sign up and leave your application can be terminated.  Because of the limited space no one person may compete in both tournies.  I'm still looking for an admin or two to help with this tourny with the absence of my partner Bondo.  Please add here any problems, rules suggestions (not going to change too much) and eventually the matches played.


Matches will be posted simply as follows.

Ketchup defeats Mustard in round 1 of the GhR or GhR demo tournament.  The score was 6-3-1.


Hopefully we can get these tournaments completed and have some fun.  This should start some Ghost Recon competetion and possibly stir up some clans.  There will be a simple graphic put up for both tournaments to show the standings.

If it so happens that the tournaments fill up quickly and people are actually playing their games and there is a need for more people to play, another tournament can be opened, in the end having the two winners playing each other.

Finally, the sign up sheets will be in two other separate threads, post everything else here.  This tournament will most likely begin next weekend to kick things off before the new season.  This will be marked on the main page of the battle league soon.  Good luck and have fun.  Post anything else here or email me.  Infection418@yahoo.com

what about a clan tourney too, i would much rather fight in a clan tourney then a 1vs1 tourney.

Yes Voodoo, I can understand this, but since I don't have Gameranger or another admin as of yet I don't know how many clans there are.  There is also the possibility of something like a 2v2.
