I have a dual 1 gig G4 with 256 MB of RAM.  I'm on a network with multiple T1s.  My internet and all my programs are ridiculously fast, and so was GR and R6 ubtil a week ago.

Why then do I suddenly have chat lag in GR and all my R6 games, it takes seconds for GR to recognize that I pressed "join game", and major lag and warping problems in all my games?

I talked to my friends who operate the network and they said they didn't fuck with the network in anyway.

Why has this happened?

There is a possible explination.  Over the weekend in a drunken moment i may have urinated on my computer ( I don't think I did, but then again, I was kneeling next to it with no pants on when my roomate walked in and saved it)  The thing is, even if I did there have no performance problems in my other programs or the net.

Any one with any solutions?

i'd be more concerned in seeing a psychologist than the GR problem  Wink
My router gives me shit like that every few months, usualy a nice unpluging fixes that. Your problem might be with a DNS server or some shit, see if other computers are slow on your network. Then if yours is the only slow one i recomend that you open the computer, donkey punch the videocard, and then proceed to golden shower the Ram slots then send it back to apple under warrentee.
